Looking for something fun and creative to do with your child? Kids Clay Room can schedule a private handbuilding class for individuals or groups to make and paint clay projects of their choice. Kids will work with wet clay, cookie cutters, stamps, molds and glazes. It can be scheduled at your convenience and based on our availability.Examples of projects are on our gallery page. Class for 1: $ 55
Class for 2 : $ 45/person
Groups of 3 to 9: $ 35/person
Groups or 10 to 16: $30/person
Wheelthrowing is a skill that requires practice and repetition. Our private wheelthrowing class is designed to give you and introduction to using the potters wheel and is primarily for the experience. Each participant will make a piece and will be given a few choices of glazes. Glazing wiil be done by your instructor once the piece has been fired. Wheelthrowing is for ages 10 and up. SAT. "Drop In" Classes (Handbuilding) REGISTRATION REQUIRED
Children will work with wet clay, cookie cutters, stamps, rolling pins and other clay tools to make a ceramic project. Completed pieces will be fired and ready for pick up in approximately 3 weeks. Our Drop-In classes are appropriated for children 3 and up. Each child picks their own project to make and paint with the assistance and instruction of our teacher. Parent/Caregiver must stay and assist children ages 3 and 4. $30/Class.

KIDS CLAY POTTERY CLASSES
Handbuilding : Handbuilding is the method of manipulating clay using ones hands and hand held tools. Children will use slab, coil and pinch techniques to create and paint a ceramic project of their choice.
Our tools and instructions apply to all ages. Each child, irrespective of age, is allowed full creative freedom with his or her work.
Wheelthrowing:Wheelthrowing is pottery utilizing a potters wheel. During the classes, children will work on a potter's wheel and learn all the different techniques used to make a wheel thrown ceramic piece.
